Tom Currier
CEO & President
In 2014, Tom Currier became President and CEO of Rackmount Solutions, a leading provider of data center infrastructure and structured cabling solutions. In 2020 Tom saw a need for customized electrical switch gear and power solutions for the data center market. This led Tom to create Maverick Power and assemble a team of dedicated professionals that “go beyond” typical fulfillment and deliver specific engineered solutions for his customers.Previously, Tom held senior executive level positions with T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Tenet Healthcare and CapitalOne. Tom was born in Michigan but grew up in New York City. He is a graduate of Bowdoin College. Tom and his family reside in McKinney, TX.
Chad Dodd
Chief Technology Officer
Chad is responsible for Product; Solution Engineering. He is a veteran of the United States Navy with a degree in Nuclear Engineering. Chad started his career as a design engineer for Caterpillar’s Critical Power Division. He quickly moved into team leadership where he led the development for a 10MW fully automated, substation-to-server solution for a large search engine in the Atlanta Metro area. Chad’s data center expertise led him to become Director of Electrical Engineering for IO Data/Baselayer, a disruptor in the modular data center space. He was responsible for critical power designs at IO’s colocation facilities in Arizona, Ohio, New Jersey, Singapore, and London. He also led critical power designs for turnkey customer implementations at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Johns Hopkins, and Raytheon. Chad recognizes the need for customized power solutions that specifically address the needs of increasingly complex data center implementations. As the technical leader of Maverick Power, he focuses on next generation designs that optimize the utilization of power and capacity.
Bill McCanless
Vice President of Operations
Bill has a long and successful career of building top-performing teams, establishing effective data-driven operations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Bill joined Maverick Power after a combined 32 years of experience at IBM and Dell, with the most recent position as the Global Manufacturing Quality team leader at Dell. He has vast experience and leadership of Operations, Procurement, Quality, Process, and New Product Engineering teams. Bill has led teams in operations, new product introduction, and procurement, improving costs, enhancing quality, and strengthening operational execution across complex and evolving environments.
Bill is married to Cristy and has two sons, Connor and Logan (both engineers). Bill has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Industrial Engineering from Mississippi State.
Andrea Clinton
Vice President of Service and Delivery
Andrea Clinton is an accomplished, results-driven leader with over three decades of experience leading complex programs and driving transformational change. A graduate of the esteemed Thunderbird School of Global Management, she holds a degree in Global Business, making her a versatile player in diverse business ecosystems.
Andrea’s career journey has given her the opportunity to work with companies such as Apple, American Express, Choice Hotels, and Apollo Global, where she demonstrated her exceptional ability to spearhead projects and deliver measurable outcomes. Her profound expertise also extends to working with leading data center providers, where she established herself as a force in delivering results.
In 2023, Andrea took on the role of Vice President of Service and Delivery at Maverick, leveraging her vast experience to foster growth, innovation, and operational excellence here. Her exceptional leadership skills are reflected not only in her significant contributions to the organizations she has worked with but also in her mentorship and coaching roles, where she is committed to empowering the next generation of leaders.
Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Andrea has cultivated a unique global perspective influencing her leadership and service delivery approach. She now resides in Arizona, where she continues to make her mark in the business landscape.
Timmy Brent
Vice President of Sales
Timmy Brent is an accomplished Sales leader with over 14 years of experience in the Critical Power Industry and working with large utility and information service providers. He ensures that his customers receive reliable solutions that meet industry standards, deliver business results and position them for the future. Prior to Maverick Power, Timmy delivered consistent sales growth for companies such as the Jacobsen and Scott’s companies. In 2010, Timmy joined ACS Manufacturing as Sales Manager for Critical Power solutions. During his 9-year tenure, he was directly responsible for over $120 million in revenue. Timmy helped found Maverick Power. He is responsible for Sales Customer Experience. Timmy is an avid golfer. He and his wife enjoy supporting his 2 children at their various athletic events. He resides in Celina, Texas. Timmy has a degree in marketing and horticulture from East State University and Grayson College.
John Baker
Vice President of Quality and Test
John Baker is a Vice President at Maverick Power. He is responsible for overseeing quality and testing. John has over 28 years of industry experience in positions including Installation, System Design, Engineering, Operations, and Sales. He derives great satisfaction from utilizing his vast expertise to create innovative solutions for customers. John began his career at Power Conversion Products (now Eltek), a leader in design, development, and production of power systems for telecom and data center environments. During his 23-year tenure, John held a variety of product management, engineering, and sales leadership positions. In 2014, John joined Rackmount Solutions, a leading provider of data center cabinets, power distribution, and structured cabling. John served as Vice President of Business Development before moving to Maverick Power. John hails from the great state of Michigan. He and his family currently reside in McKinney, Texas. In his free time, John enjoys boating and fishing.
