About the Role:

Maverick Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Manager to oversee our inside sales and order management operations. This role is critical in forecasting department orders and revenue as well as helping to develop a go-to-market strategy for service sales. This individual will also play a key role in transitioning from our current computer maintenance management system to a new ERP. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working with ERP and CRM systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Management
    • Organize, track and forecast sales from existing service orders
    • Receive orders and forecast revenue based on delivery cycle.
    • Ensure orders are properly entered into the CMMS and ERP system and communicated internally.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely customer communications and smooth execution of orders
    • Monitor order progress and proactively manage revenue expectations
    • Track job progress and ensure all deliverables are met before billing.
  • Product Sales
    • Organize, track and forecast orders from existing service estimates.
    • Collect service estimate metrics, provide product performance detail and make recommendations to improve hit rate and reduce estimate to order lead time.
  • Revenue Forecasting
    • Maintain and update the revenue forecast for partial billing as jobs progress over multiple months.
    • Collaborate with finance and service operations to ensure forecast accuracy.
  • Service Contract Management
    • Oversee active service contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and timely renewals.
    • Track and report on contract performance and customer satisfaction.
    • Collect key contract performance metrics including time to respond and repair
    • Oversee customer call center performance
  • KPI Tracking
    • Monitor and report on all financial and performance indicators as related to order fulfillment, billing timelines, and customer satisfaction.
  • ERP/CMS Systems Integration
    • Work with internal teams ERP and CRM systems leads to integrate service order processes.
    • Collaborate with ERP/CMS developers to fully integrate service operations into the selected system.

Qualifications:

  • 4-Yr Technical Degree and minimum of 2 years of technical experience. Alternately an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, order processing, or project coordination.
  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., Epicor, Salesforce).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Experience in a technical or service-based industry is a plus.
  • Ability to travel, including overnight stays when required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Punctual and well organized
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of electro-mechanical assemblies, common tools, test equipment and repair techniques.
  • Keen attention to detail, familiar with root cause analysis and organized in defining problem resolution.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well under pressure maintaining a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to be flexible with your schedule as work hours will be based on business needs.
  • Ability to read and understand Mechanical, Control and Electrical schematics.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to drive a company and/or rented vehicle and be insured.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to twenty five pounds at times.

May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
