About the Role:
We are looking for Project Managers to help facilitate our growth in the electrical power distribution industry. This individual will serve as the face of Maverick Power to its customers and interface with sales, engineering and operations to deliver projects timely and drive increased end customer satisfaction. You will manage portfolio of multiple projects with average orders over $500k. You will be responsible for ensuring that the company is at all times meeting the customer expectations in terms of delivery, quality and order accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the execution of processes associated with manufacturing orders and projects, with support from operations, engineering, and sales teams
- Lead assigned projects for customers, while providing schedule updates and communicating/managing status updates and change order details
- Provide direction to production personnel to ensure manufacturing specifications are adhered to, execution budgets are maintained, and shipments meet our promised commitment dates to our customers
- Be accountable for coordinating timely project hardware/material purchases working with our procurement team to improve deliveries and better leverage project spend.
- Take direction from the financial execution team to respond to changing cost and revenue trends as well as ensuring accurate workforce and procurement forecasting reports are maintained monthly
- Lead weekly project performance reviews with the operations team to identify risks/challenges and ensure accurate resource forecasting, successful completion, and customer satisfaction
- Connect first line technical support for manufacturing personnel assigned to your projects and raise to engineering personnel, as required.
- Support proposal efforts when needed to ensure sufficient operations budgets are included in all offers
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives with other teammates across our operations to drive optimal organizational processes
- Performs other job-related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s (Preferred) and or an associate degree, plus 3 or more years of relevant experience in areas such as project management, manufacturing, or hands-on assembly technician role
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in power electronics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools or other project management tools
- Basic scheduling knowledge of predecessor-successor logic
- Experience in construction, electrical or automation industry
- Experience supporting a high mix medium volume manufacturing or job-shop organization
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and comfortable with advising and evaluating tasks/activities to supporting team members
- Comfortable presenting information to management and customers
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds at times.

May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
