About the Role:
The Product Manager – LV & MV Systems owns strategy and execution for integrated LV/MV solutions that combine multiple products into cohesive systems (e.g., LV/MV switchboards/switchgear lineups, MCCs, ATS solutions, distribution assemblies, busway interfaces, and monitoring/metering integration). This role emphasizes system architecture, configurability, factory execution, and installation/commissioning realities. Experience supporting multiple segments – commercial, industrial, oil & gas, data centers, and renewables – is required, along with strong familiarity with LV/MV systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define LV system reference architectures, standard lineups, and solution bundles optimized for repeatability, safety, footprint, and deployability.
- Own system roadmap: option packages, redundancy patterns, maintainability improvements, and monitoring integration (as applicable).
- Establish configuration rules and guardrails to balance flexibility with manufacturability; reduce one-off engineering by standardizing options and BOM structures.
- Partner with quoting/CPQ, application engineering, and factories to improve quote speed, right-first-time orders, and margin protection.
- Translate segment needs into system requirements (e.g., rapid deployment and maintainability for data centers; robustness and service access for industrial and oil & gas; code compliance and ease of installation for commercial; integration and monitoring for renewables applications).
- Coordinate across contributing product teams to ensure interoperability and consistent customer experience (mechanical, electrical, and digital interfaces).
- Drive DFM/DFA and assembly/test flow improvements; improve first-pass yield and on-time delivery.
- Lead system-level quality improvements using field data, commissioning feedback, and warranty trends; prioritize sustaining roadmap items.
- Develop go-to-market and enablement content: one-lines, selection guides, configuration playbooks, training, and segment narratives
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in product management/product line management in an EOEM environment supporting LV power distribution systems.
- Strong understanding of LV assemblies and lineups and how multiple components integrate into a system; familiarity with MV interfaces preferred.
- Experience managing configurable offerings (CTO/ETO or hybrid) and leading cross-functional delivery.
- Understanding of segment requirements across commercial, industrial, oil & gas, data centers, and renewables.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; MBA a plus.
- Experience with configurators (CPQ), modular architectures, and standardized BOM governance in PLM/ERP.
- Experience partnering with field/service teams to improve commissioning and lifecycle support.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
