About the Role:

This is a dynamic service management position supporting a wide range of aftermarket field service efforts. The candidate must be highly technical, detailed oriented, enthusiastic and have the ability to effectively communicate across a wide range of technical and non-technical customers. This position would be responsible for overseeing field operations for Maverick Power products and services. Skills best suited for this position include ability to multi-task, effectively manage available resources, think strategically and act with a sense of urgency. Familiarization with service deliver models, power distribution and maintenance management systems is required. Working effectively as a team and assuring strict compliance with company safety and other policies are also critical to success as a Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with internal and external customers to understand the end user requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering, Field Services and Product Management team to develop technical solutions.
  • Define required materials, lead time and labor efforts as well as associated costs and logistics.
  • Assist in developing formal proposals and presenting proposals to the end user or customer and following up with all additional inquiries or requirements.
  • Supervision of Maverick Field Service, Engineering or contracted employees in the execution of the solution when required.
  • Responsible for timely delivery of scheduled services.
  • Assists with setting and overseeing work assignments/activities, schedules, and work quality of the field services team.
  • Understanding site access and safety requirements making sure employees are trained and equipped to complete assigned tasks.
  • Asses repair needs which may include interpretation of diagnostic or other technical documentation.
  • Performs other job-related duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Four Year Technical Degree and 2-4 years of technical experience. Alternately an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Ability to travel, including overnight stays when required.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, electrical power studies and other technical documents including specifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well under pressure maintaining a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to be flexible with your schedule as work hours will be based on business needs.
  • Ability to read and understand Control and Electrical schematics.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.

Work Environment:
May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
