About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, summarizing the data and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. The Business Analyst will need strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills are essential to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to support decision-making. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial trends and performance.
- Assist in the development and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial models. Track financial performance and ensure it aligns with budgetary goals.
- Continuously monitor financial performance, providing insights into areas of improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
- Responsible for generating, analyzing, and optimizing custom reports using Epicor ERP systems to support business decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure data accuracy across financial, sales, and inventory functions
- Monitor actual financial performance against forecasts and budgets and provide recommendations for adjustments.
- Develop and maintain financial models to help different departments analyze their performance.
- Provide support during audits or internal reviews.
- Other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related degree
- Some SQL knowledge preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Products
- Have Experience with Epicor or other ERP Programs
- Must be dependable and extremely trustworthy.
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds at times.
Work Environment:
May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
